CIA against cyber crime
by Tony Hill on March 9, 2015
Imagination of online criminals knows no bounds and often even seems that they are at least one step ahead. This is especially true in the area of state institutions and high-tech companies who are from day to day more besieged by cybercriminals. This is also the reason why the CIA began to implement the biggest restructuring in its history, by which it will respond to the challenges of our time and the Internet.
CIA will set up as many as ten new departments and employees will be much more focused on the key security threats of our time, especially on cyber crime. One of the key roles will have a Department of Administration for Digital Innovation, which will deal with monitoring progress in the field of cyber crime and digital espionage and will be responsible for the security of electronic CIA communications.
New sections of CIA should be fully operational towards the end of this year.
