by Tony Hill on June 21, 2014

Microsoft programmers have prepared a new version of Skype (4.3.0.37) for many Linux distributions, which brings a number of improvements. Among them we find a slightly revised graphical interface, the ability to provide group chat and improved functionality for blind and visually impaired.

Renewed Skype for Linux has more reliable data transfer and a more rapid and reliable operation. It is available for many Linux distributions, namely Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit), Ubuntu 12.04, Debian, Fedora 7 and Open SUSE 12.1. Skype 4.3 for Linux is now available for download at this link.
