New Google Maps can predict driving destination

by Tony Hill on January 16, 2016

Google has pleased users of smart phones and tablets Android with new release of Google Maps for mobile devices, which brings new feature called "driving mode". This feature collects data about our location and search queries in Google. When activated, it automatically suggests destination, users just have to confirm it, if it is correct. New Maps also show traffic data in real time and expected arrival depending on the traffic situation.

Since "driving mode" is still in beta, it may not function completely reliable, but Google assured, that most of errors will be corrected in next version. There was also added slider for turning volume up or down and users can now also adjust display on the timeline.

New version of Google Maps for Android is already available to download on Google play from the following link or through automatic updates.
