Microsoft Edge with support for Chrome extensions

by Tony Hill on March 21, 2016

Edge is newest browser from Microsoft that replaced old and not too popular Internet Explorer. Despite of its many novelties and improvements, a lot of Windows 10 users are still not using it and even those who were, are giving up. This is why Microsoft programmers are preparing a solution that could reverse this negative trend.

They are preparing a new version of browser Edge that will support extensions made for Chrome. A new tool made for this purpose will enable programmers to develop extensions for Edge on the basis of those made for Chrome. This new tool is currently in test phase and should be available in the next couple of months.
